Dryad is a nonprofit membership organization. All stakeholder organizations including publishers, societies, universities, libraries, funders, and others are invited to become members.

Categories of publisher membership and dues

There are three categories of publisher membership. Members in all categories are invited to attend the Annual Meeting, nominate candidates for the Board of Directors and cast one vote in the Board elections.

Category Designed for Annual dues
Sustainer Publishers or other organizations with an annual gross income of or more. All journals published by the member are eligible for discounted payment plans.
Supporter Smaller publishers, scholarly societies and other organizations with an annual gross income of less than . All journals published by the member are eligible for discounted payment plans.
Advocate Publishers or other organizations of any income level that wish to support Dryad and vote in elections. Does not include discounted payment plans.

Sponsoring data publishing

Publishers can be a part of Dryad by becoming a member, participating in a payment plan, integrating journals, or all of these. Use our online payment plan comparison tool to compare the annual cost of Dryad's plan options.
