Title Microsatellite data

Description Microsatellite data of Ch. montanus and Ch. parallelus used for hybrid detection and calculation of genetic parameters. DNA was extracted using the DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit (Qiagen). All individuals were genotyped at ten polymorphic microsatellite loci. Fragment lengths of PCR products were determined on a MEGABACE1000 automated sequencer (GE Healthcare) and scored with Fragment Profiler 1.2 (Amersham Biosciences).
