Title Mitochondrial physiology of sunfish hybrids

Description The mitochondrial physiology of bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus), pumpkinseed (Lepomis gibbosus), and their hybrids were assessed. Mitochondrial respiration was measured using high resolution respirometry and fluorometry (Oxygraph-2k with O2k-Fluorescence module, Oroboros Instruments, Innsbruck, Austria). Enzyme assays and lipid peroxidation were measured using a SpectraMax Plus 384 microplate reader (Molecular Devices, Sunnyvale, CA, USA).
