Title Genotypic_data_Provenances_Teak_Natural_Distribution
Description The data is delivered in an input format which can be used in the GenAlEx 6.5 software (Peakall and Smouse 2006, 2012) http://biology-assets.anu.edu.au/GenAlEx/Welcome.html, from where the data can be exported to various other formats. In the first row of the spreadsheet are given numbers which characterize the data: cell A1=”6” says that there are 6 SSR markers, B1=”721” says that there are 721 samples in total, C1=”29” says that there are 29 provenances in the data set. Cell D1=”22” until cell AF1=”27” give the number of samples in each of the 29 provenances. AG=”1” says that there is one region as a starting point. Finally cell AH=”721”says that there are 721 sample sin this single region. In row no. 2 is given information about the data and the names/numbers of the 29 provenances (corresponding to the ones used in the publication) are given in the cells D2 to AF2. In row no. 3 are given headings for the data columns. “Sample No.” (column 1) is an arbitrary number for the samples within provenances. This is not a unique number; several samples have the same sample no. (e.g. “1”). “Population” is the name/number of the provenances. In the following 12 columns (2 for each of the 6 SSRs) the SSR data is coming in the form of alleles coded as their integer size in base pairs (bp). So in column C and D (starting in cells C4 and D4) are the data for the SSR marker 1TA06, etc.

Description The same data as in the Genotypic_data_Provenances_Teak_Natural_Distribution.xlsx file (described above), just given as comma delimited file format, starting with one line giving the headings for the rest of the data. “Sample No.” is an arbitrary number for the samples within provenances. This is not a unique number; several samples have the same sample no. (e.g. “1”). “Population” is the name/number of the provenances. The following 12 numbers (2 for each of the 6 SSRs) are the SSR data coming in the form of alleles coded as their integer size in base pairs (bp).
