Description This is an excel file containing several variables for each of the 89 municipalities of the north of Minas Gerais region in two years (2000 and 2015). It includes biophysical and social-economic drivers of land use change, welfare indicators, Cerrado gross area lost and gained, and Cerrado net area change between 2000 and 2015. These variables include social-economic indicators obtained from public databases (Brazilian Institute for Geography and Statistics-IBGE and United Nations Development Programme-UNDP) and biophysical variables obtained through Geographic Information Systems.
