Title Adhesion of male diving beetles suction cups

Description Data from adhesion measurements of male diving beetle suction cups on different surfaces. The surfaces include glass (measured both with the sensor operated by a manipulator and manually) and the elytra and pronotum of both males and two female morphs. Data comes from two species (Dytiscus lapponicus and Graphoderus zonatus) and two different locations (Östra Skivsjön and Lomtjärn). The data file includes the maximum, minimum and mean of each adhesion event, the time of the measurment, the baseline, the calibration factor used for calculations and the calculated adhesion and loading force.
