Description The file contains the data underlying our demonstration of mother-offspring competition in earwigs. Provided are two data sheets with variables detailing (1) the number, weight gain, and survival of 1st brood offspring and their mother as well as 2nd clutch production, and (2) the morphology of the surviving 1st brood offspring upon adult emergence. Variables are explained in the corresponding "annotation" sheets.
