Description Coordinates corresponding to 10850 individual croton shrubs, separated into 16 plots of 30x30m. Plots were established along an altitudinal gradient in dry scrubland of southern Ecuador. Plot-1 to Plot-8 located between 1400 and 1500 m.a.s.l. and plot-9 to plot-16 located between 1750 and 1900 m.a.s.l.
