Description This data describes GPS data from goal-directed flights by lesser black-backed gulls between England and their breeding colony on Texel, NL. Locations, time since departure, flight speeds, flight mode and orientation are described, as well as simulated flights based on optimal orientation (OO), full compensation for wind drift (FC) and goal orientation (GO). See paper (particularly Table 2) for details.
