Title Maximum clade credibility tree (789 species)

Description Maximum clade credibility (MCC) phylogeny of 789 species of the Corvides as recognized by the IOC v.2.7. This phylogeny is based on a bayesian analyses of mitochondrial and nuclear DNA sequences for 665 species. The remaining 124 species for which sequence data was unavailable were added as polytomies to the phylogeny based on this taxonomic knowledge, before a birth-death model was used to resolve the polytomies and assign branch lengths. This process generated a fully bifurcating tree for 789 corvoid species.
