Description Details on individual sampling events for channel catfish Ictalurus punctatus in Cheat Lake, West Virginia. Dates provided were from the year 2014. Water temperatures presented were measured by the USGS water gauge on the Cheat River at Albright, West Virginia at 2400 hours. Gear was denoted as EGN (experimental gill nets), HN (hoop nets), GN (46 m gill nets) and BEF (boat electrofishing). See text for thorough explanations of net dimensions.
