Description This .zip file contains the spectral measurements taken from the flounders' skin, as well as photographs of the animal against backgrounds of sand, rocks, small gravel, and large gravel. You may find the details of data acquisition and processing in our paper titled:"Changeable camouflage: how well can flounder resemble the colour and spatial scale of substrates in their natural habitats?" Please email the corresponding author for any questions. Code we have used to process these data is also available upon request.
