Title Thermal tolerance traits of temperate and tropical aquatic insects

Description This dataset includes critical thermal max and min data along with thermal breadths measured for a variety of aquatic insects from low, mid, and high elevation temperate and tropical streams. Each individual was assigned to a species using DNA barcoding (Taxon) and the taxonomic order is indicated (Order). The elevations (in meters) and latitudes (0 = Colorado, 1 = Ecuador) from which the insects were collected are provided. Dry weights are provided along with critical thermal limits (CTmax and CTmin) and their differences where applicable (Thermal Breadth). Stream temperature range is also provided (Range).
