Description Microsoft Excel xlsx file with data from the final data set of 27 black-tailed prairie dog jump yip bouts summarized with each bout's data in rows, the first column (Rob's bout) giving a unique site and bout identifier, the second (Latency) the latency in seconds to initial response, the third the duration of the bout (Duration) in seconds from the initial response to the end of the final jump yip within the bout, the third (Responses) the number of jump-yip responses in the bout, the fifth (ppn vigilant) is the proportion of time the bout instigator devoted to vigilance in the one minute subsequent to the instigator's call, and the sixth (total forg), the proportion of time in the minute subsequent to the bout instigator's call that the bout instigator devoted to active foraging.
