Description 1,801 women with caesarean section (CS) and 1,801 matched women with vaginal delivery (VD) from gynecological practices in Germany. Data set includes the patient-id, age, obesity, mode of delivery (CS versus VD) in the first pregnancy and in the second pregnancy, the most common pregnancy-induced diseases, pregnancy-associated disorders and complications prior to or during birth in the subsequent pregnancy. The index date (Indexdate) relates to the physician visit.
