Title Quantitative information for Flaveria leaf transcriptome reads mapped in a cross species approach onto the reference transcriptome from Arabidopsis thaliana.

Description The transcriptomes of mature leaves from nine Flaveria species with different type photosynthesis (C3, C4 and C3-C4 intermediate) were sequenced by Illumina sequencing leading to 30 to 58 million reads per species and experiment. Four independent experiments were performed and the reads were mapped in a cross species approach onto the minimal set of Arabidopsis thaliana coding sequences in the protein space using the BLAST-like alignment tool BLAT. In the table the normalized read counts in rpkm (reads per million and kilo base) for all Arabidopsis cds are give alongside the TAIR and MapMan annotations of the respective Arabidopsis genes.
