Description Phylogenetic relationships among caviomorphs studied. Phylogenetic relationships were estimated through Bayesian inference methods implemented in BEAST v1.6.1. Sequences from the Growth Hormone Receptor (GHR), Transtyrethin Hormone (TTH) and mitochondrial subunit 12S (12S rRNA) were used. Values correspond to estimated age of each taxa.
