Description Repeated measurements of body mass, haematocrit and blood parasitaemia (RQ) taken over a -15/17 day-period in birds infected by Plasmodium relictum and fed with control or supplemented diets (experiment 1). Parasites originating from control/supplemented hosts were inoculated to new birds that were also fed either control or supplemented diet (experiment 2). For more details, refer to the Materials and Methods section of the manuscript.
