Title Bird species whose Digital Distribution Maps were examined for comission errors
Downloaded 17 times
Description A list of 1,007 bird species that occur in the Amazon, and whose Digital Distribution Maps were examined for comission errors. Digital Distribution Maps are downloaded from http://www.iucnredlist.org/. All species were evaluated in terms of the habitat where they occur, and classified as either occurring in seasonally flooded forest or not occurring in seasonally flooded forests. We then identified the species that had commission errors, i.e., species mapped as occurring throughout the entire Amazon, but that are not reported to occur in seasonally flooded forest.
