Abstract

These data files hold the results from a redispersal experiment where seeds of the Perennial plant, Sternbergia clusiana, were presented to three species of desert ants and seed fate was followed after the seeds were taken into the nest.

The other data set includes information regarding the distribution of this plant, at three life stages, with respect to the distribution of shurbs. These data were used to test indirectly whether the shrub's environment may be beneficial for the survival, growth and reproductive success of the target plant. Methods
