Description: This file contains summarized drought, leaf area, vegetative anthocyanin and resin data, with individual replicates averaged by family. See M&M section 2.5.
Variable descriptions:
ecotype: category for source population, 3 values: 1 - red, 2 - hybrid, 3 - yellow
population: 3 character code for each population, 16 values: see Table S1
distance: 1-dimensional distance along flower color transect (see M&M 2.1)
family: identity of maternal half-sib family, nested in population, 3 families per population
la: family average leaf area in cm^2
sqrt_la: square root transformed family average leaf area
d: family average drought sensitivity score
sqrt_d: square root transformed family average drought sensitivity score
ulr: family average unstressed leaf resin absorbance
ula: family average unstressed leaf anthocyanin absorbance
slr: family average stressed leaf resin absorbance
sla: family average stressed leafanthocyanin absorbance
sqrt_slr: square root transformed family average stressed leaf resin
recip_sqrt_sla: reciprocal square root transformed family average stressed leaf anthocyanin
PC1: principal component 1 scores for all traits (transformed where needed)
