Title miRNA microarray within hippocampus region of PSEN12 double knockout mice

Description The wild type and PSEN dKO mice were sacrificed at the ages of 7 and 18 months. The complete mouse brain structure was removed and immediately prepared on dry ice. The hippocampus was dissected and stored at −80°C until RNA isolation. Total RNA was isolated using the Trizol reagent. MiRNA expression profiling was performed using Affymetrix Gene Chip miRNA 4.0 arrays (Affymetrix, Santa Clara, CA, USA) containing 4500 mouse mature miRNAs in the miRBase.
