Description All M-file codes were written in GNU Octave, version 4.0.0 (Free software licensed under the GNU General Public License; https://www.gnu.org/software/octave). You will first need to download octave functions of Wagenaar lab package (https://github.com/wagenadl/octave-wagenaarlab/releases/latest) and Qplot package (https://github.com/wagenadl/qplot/releases/latest) from from GitHub. Then, load packages of 'wagenaarlab', 'qplot', 'signal', 'statistics' before running a code. A manual of M-file functions for analyzing Vscope datasets (by Daniel A. Wagenaar) is available for understanding and using those functions ('vscope_functionNotes.txt' in the folder 'functions').
