The attached file contains all the data used in the paper "Nitrogen availability and plant-plant interactions drive leaf silicon accumulation among wheat genotypes" by de Tombeur et al. 2022 - Functional Ecology Description of variables: -num_pot: the number of each pot, ranging from 1 to 384 -N_treatment: indicate if pots have been fertilised (N+) or not (N-) with nitrogen (N) -growth_modality: indicate if the plant individual has grown alone in his pot (single), at two with the same genotype (intragenotypic_culture) or at two with a different genotype (intergenotypic_culture) -genotype: give the wheat genotype identity for which the traits are given in the last columns (leaf Si, height, biomass) -genotype_neighbour: indicate the genotype identity of the neighbour, when one is present in the pot (not for single then) -leaf_Si_%_DW: concentration of silicon (Si) in leaves of the wheat genotype, in % dry weight -heigh_cm: height of the wheat genotype, in centimetre -aboveground_biomass_g: aboveground biomass of the wheat genotype, in grams
