# Title of Dataset:An arachnid.s guide to being an ant: morphological and behavioral mimicry in ant-mimicking spiders --- The dataset contains information related to the trajectories of mimics,non-mimics and model ants as well as measurements of leg size and body shape obtained by morphometric tools and the respective R scripts used for the analyses described in the study ## Description of the Data and file structure There are three main folders divided based on the aspects of traits studied in the paper viz. movement, leg size (traditional morphometrics) and body shape(geometric morphometrics). The various files in each folder is described below 1)Movement - a)The folder "Tracjetory co-ordinates" CSV files containing raw trajectory co-ordinates obtained from Tracker. Files are divided based on group of organism viz. mimic,non-mimic and weaver ants with each individual marked with a unique number. For weaver ants there are two subfolders, one containing trajectory data for individuals recorded while following a pheromone trail (on trail) whereas the other folder for those that walked in the absence of a pheromone trail (off trail) b)The folder "Time spent stationary" contains csv file and R code for measuring the amount of time mimics, non-mimics and model ants spent stationary during a trial c)R script for measuring speed 2)Leg size - a)CSV file containing leg appendage measurements of mimics,non-mimics and ants; b)CSV file containing length:width ratios for each leg part of each leg compared for the three groups; c)R script for conducting PCA based on leg ratios 3)Body shape - a)TPS files containing landmarks and semilandmarks; b)R scripts for conducting PCA based relative warp analysis on landmarks and semilandmarks ## Sharing/access Information Links to other publicly accessible locations of the data:NA Was data derived from another source?
