"Monarch data_Host plant 3.txt" Data for all monarchs in experiment that survived to adulthood. Data collected by ED Sternberg, J Li, CFdC Lopez, H Li, JC de Roode. Contact E Sternberg (esternb@emory.edu) with questions. Column headings: Monarch = Shared monarch/plant ID number. Species = food plant species, all Asclepias sp. Parasite = parasite clone ID number. Treatment = inoculated (infected) or control (uninfected) Dose = parasite dose received by monarch Hatch date = date monarch hatched. Inoculation = date of inoculation. Pupation date = date monarch pupated. Eclosion = date monarch emerged from pupa. Death date = date monarch died. Larval development = development time from hatching to pupa (in days). Adult longevity = time from emergence to death (in days). Log10(Sporeload) = log transformed hemocytometer counts of parasite spores. Sex = male or female. Pupal development = time from pupation to emergence (in days). Envelope wt = mass of glassine envelope alone (in g). Monarch + Env wt = mass of glassine envelope containing adult monarch (in g). Pupal score = discoloration of pupa associated with parasite, based on 0 (uninfected) to 5 (heavily infected). Infection Status = infected or uninfected (determine by pupal score and/or hemocytometer counts).
