Baer and Marquis shelter-switch analysis 2021-04-26.R: R code for analyzing the data in Shelter_switch_data3.txt -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: See Baer and Marquis (accepted, Behavioral Ecology) Software- or Instrument-specific information needed to interpret the data, including software and hardware version numbers: R code was prepared in RStudio (Version 1.3.1073) using R version 4.0.2. Environmental/experimental conditions: Palo Verde is a tropical seasonally dry forest. June through August is normally the first part of the wet season. See Baer and Marquis (accepted, Behavioral Ecology) for more details. People involved with sample collection, processing, analysis and/or submission: C. S. Baer designed the experiment, switched, monitored, collected, and reared caterpillars, performed the molecular laboratory work, data analysis, and data submission. L. Morales Gutierrez monitored, collected, and reared caterpillars. R. J. Marquis helped design the experiment and data analysis. -------------------------- DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION -------------------------- Shelter_switch_data3.txt Number of variables: 15 Number of cases/rows: 143 Variable list, defining any abbreviations, units of measure, codes or symbols used: Caterpillar = PV16-####.
