Data notes for "Parallel and non-parallel divergence within polymorphic populations of brook stickleback, Culaea inconstans (Actinopterygii: Gasterosteidae)" Morphology landmark data: File name: Willerth_Franks_Mee_Morphology_Data.TPS This file contains two-dimensional landmark data in TPS format. The TPS file format is a (p x k x n) array, where p is the number of landmark points (27 in this case), k is the number of dimensions (2 in this care), and n is the number of specimens. Morphology metadata: File name: Willerth_Franks_Mee_Morphology_Metadata.csv Column information: Fish_ID: Unique ID for each specimen Lake: Name of the lake from which the specimen was sampled Year: Year in which the specimen was sampled Sex: Sex assigned for each specimen (m = male, f = female, NA = no sex assigned) Plink_code_phenotype: The pelvic phenotype for each specimen (1 = complete pelvis, 2 = vestigial pelvis, 3 = pelvis absent) Reduced: The pelvic phenotype for each specimen (no = complete pelvis, yes = vestigial or absent pelvis) Stable isotope data: File name: Willerth_Franks_Mee_Isotope_Data.csv Column information: Sample_ID: Unique ID for each specimen SAMPLE_ID_1: Unique ID for each specimen, including replicate information. An appended number indicates a replicate (e.g. _1), and and appended "_M" indicates the mean value for that specimen. Replicate: indicates whether a value is a replicate (1, 2, or 3), a mean, or if a specimen's stable isotope reading was not replicated. Sample_Date: Date on which the specimen was sampled (YYMMDD) Lake: Name of the lake from which the specimen was sampled Taxon: Broad taxonomic category (BRST = brook stickleback, INV = benthic macroinvertebrate, Plankton = zooplankton) Taxon2: More specific taxonomic information, if available. FL: The total length of the brook stickleback specimens in mm. Location: The access point on the lake from which the specimen was sampled. Habitat: The habitat from which the specimen was sampled. Spines: The pelvic phenotype for each specimen (1 = complete pelvis, 2 = vestigial pelvis, 3 = pelvis absent). Sex: Sex assigned for each specimen (M = male, F = female, NA = no sex assigned). Reduced: he pelvic phenotype for each specimen (no = complete pelvis, yes = vestigial or absent pelvis). d13C-orgnc: the relative carbon isotope value. C: the raw carbon isotope value. d15N-orgnc: the relative nitrogen isotope value. N: the raw nitrogen isotope value.
