Abstract

Software-defined networking (SDN) is a paradigm that has been proposed as a holistic solution for the inherent problems of wireless sensor networks (WSN). Security is a challenge in WSN. Because of resources constraints, to implement very secure systems may be complicated. This project aims to study the SDN characteristics to establish real benefits of using SDN in WSN to improve its security. We will carry out a performace evaluation  and comparison between traditionals WSN and SDN with WSN for different attacks. From this comparison, we will propose a countermeasure for each attack.
