Abstract

FLODIS is an experimental research project which aims at understanding how artificially increased flower number (i.e. enhanced floral display) impacts male and female reproductive/mating success as well as sex-specific pattern of selection on floral traits, in the dioecious insect-pollinated species Silene dioica.

Usage notes

dataID_FLODIS: all data on floral traits and reproductive/mating success from individuals (males, OP females and HP females)

allFruits_FLODIS: all fruits dissected in OP and HP females to assess seed and ovule number, seed weight, as well as mean+variance in seed size

paternity_FLODIS: assigned father for each offspring from the paternity analysis on CERVUS
