MALDI-TOF MS spectra, LC-MS/MS datafiles, and Mascot MZID files of modern bone collagen of 18 species of Pleuronectiformes as reference spectra that were used to develop peptide biomarkers for ZooMS (Zooarchaeology by Mass Spectrometry).
