Abstract

834 successively admitted patients aged 65 and over to the acute medical take to a district general hospital had their waterlow score recorded, with subsequent 30-day mortality and length of stay correlated. Admission biochemistry pertaining to sodium, albumin and creatining were also recorded. Records include whether they were a death within 30 days and also their total length of stay.
