Abstract

The data are from semi-structured qualitative interviews conducted with researchers (all status levels from undergraduate to tenured faculty) at NC State University between August 2018 - January 2019

 

Methods

The data are from semi-structured qualitative interviews conducted with researchers (all status levels from undergraduate to tenured faculty) at NC State University between August 2018 - January 2019

Each response is coded to correspond with a Question section (1-6) of the interview instrument (see tab called "Researcher Interview Questions")

Usage notes

"Coded" tab of this spreadsheet
Q (column) represents Question sections 1-6
Item/Quote (column) indicates if response (represented in "Response" column is a paraphrase of participants' responses or if response is a direct quote from participants
Category (column) includes coding that corresponds with subsections of each Question section. Some categories (e.g., Challenges) will appear in all of the Question sections.
Response (column) responses from participants and in some cases, direct quotes from participants
