Abstract
This data constitutes Radial component P-wave receiver functions computed at Gaussian width 2.5 for teleseismic earthquakes recorded at 20 broadband stations of the Jammu and Kashmir Seismological NETwork (JAKSNET). These P-RFs are used for modeling the crustal structure of the Jammu and Kashmir Himalaya.

Summary of the Data:
The P-wave receiver function data has been computed from the Jammu and Kashmir Seismological NETwork (JAKSNET) teleseismic waveforms recorded from 2013 to 2019.These are time series dataset obtained by deconvolving the vertical component waveform from the radial component. Gaussian filter of width 2.5 has been applied during the deconvolution process to remove high-frequency noise and stabilise the deconvolution process.
Description of the data and file structure
Naming convention:
e.g. f45_171920124HARW_0.001_2.5.i.eqr.xy
f45: filtered and cut for +/- 45 s
171920124: year as yy (2017 - 17) jdy (julian day 192) hr (20) min (24)
HARW: Station code as 4 digits (HARW - Harwan)
0.001: water-level parameter (used as cut-off misfit while iteratively building the eqr file)
2.5: Gaussian width
i: iterative deconvolution
eqr: radial component
xy: x-time in seconds and y-amplitude in m/s
Methods
The data was collected by the broadband seismological experiment names Jammu and Kashmir Seismological NETwork (JAKSNET) deployed across Jammu and Kashmir Himalaya from 2013-2019.
