Abstract

Average organ weights, C, N, P concentrations, and biomass root-shoot ratios (including and excluding tassel weight) of each plant in different periods and densities were collated, and used to calculate C/N and N/P ratios. Graphs were drawn in Excel, and tests of significance were conducted in SPSS 22 software.

When the relationship between tassel weight and root-shoot ratio per plant was regressed, the aboveground biomass of the root-shoot ratio per plant did not include tassel weight so as to maintain the independence between the dependent and independent variables.
