Abstract

The dataset contains the compiled data for the aridity and salinity conditions at Acacia species' presence and absence locations, factors on sampling bias, as well as Acacia phylogeny. The data file is the input to the NEMo analyses. The dataset also contains the result files from the analyses.

Methods

The dataset is compiled from existing presence absence data for Acacia species that are included in the Acacia phylogeny. The orginal data sources are given in the paper.

Usage Notes

The NEMo method described in the paper is used to analyze the datasets to infer the contemporary tolerance level and the history of evolution in tolerance level to aridity and salinity of eachg Acacia species included in the phylogeny.

The source code for NEMo is available at https://github.com/huaxia1985/NEMo, which gives detailed instruction on how to perform the analysis and how to summarise the results from the analysis.
