Abstract
These data sets are for observational coding of stair choice and demographics at workplaces and an outdoor site when the alternative method of negotiation was lifts. Two further data sets coded choice when the alternative to stairs was a sloped ramp.

LIFTS: The number of lifts in the building

MALE1F0: Coded 1 for males and 0 for females
NOBAGS1: Coded 1 for no large bag/box and 0 for a large bag/box
NW1OW0: Coded 1 for healthy weight and 0 for overweight.
