Abstract

This dataset consists of approximatly 80 thousand impulsive detections identified within underwater acoustic recordings collected in the Southern California Bight. These events consist primarily of toothed whale echolocation clicks. Manual labels are provided.

Usage notes

This dataset includes four folders of data files. Files are named according to the acoustic dataset from which they were derived following the pattern: <Project>_<Site>_<DeploymentNumber>_<diskNumber>_Delphin_<dataType>.mat  Each file is saved in netcdf format, originally produced in Matlab 2018.
