Abstract
This is a project attempting to replicate and extend prior work that has used a tongue twister paradigm to i) demonstrate predictive coding in auditory cortex during speech, and ii) provide suggestive evidence of internal error correction in speech that implicates the posterior middle temporal gyrus. For previous work that this project is based on see: Okada, K., Matchin, W., & Hickok, G. (2018). Neural evidence for predictive coding in auditory cortex during speech production.
