Eunice roussaei ****************** Volumetric data of a micro-CT scan of the parapod of Eunice roussaei, a polychaete worm. The zip folder contains *.bmp data of cross sections through the sample and the log file with all scanning and reconstruction parameters. Files can be viewed with any volumetric rendering software (free software is available by various developers). Size of the imaged part of the animal: ca. 2.9 mm. Sample preparation: ----------------------------- Animal was fixed in formalin and preserved in 70% ethanol. Prior to scanning a parapod was dissected and dehydrated to 96% ethanol. Then it was desiccated with Hexamethyldisilazane. The dried sample was fixed in a piece of styrofoam for scanning.
