This README file describes the datasets used to conduct the phylogenetic analyses in the publication: A maximalist approach to the systematics of a biological control agent: Gryon aetherium Talamas, sp. nov. (Hymenoptera, Scelionidae) Authors: Lahey Z., The Ohio State University Correspondence for this README: Zachary Lahey (lahey.18@osu.edu) Computer software required to reproduce analyses: MAFFT for multiple sequence alignment (MSA; https://mafft.cbrc.jp/alignment/software/); IQ-TREE (http://www.iqtree.org/) to conduct phylogenetic analyses on MSAs produced with MAFFT. Files: The single tarball (gryon_aetherium_talamas_et_al_2021.tar.gz) contains two directories, one for each of the datasets analyzed. Each directory contains: (1) a file with the multiple sequence alignment (.fasta) (2) a bash script (.sh) with the commands used to run the analysis in IQ-TREE (3) a partition file (.best_scheme.nex) Each directory also contains the IQ-TREE results of the phylogenetic analyses conducted on that dataset. The reader is referred to the IQ-TREE webpage (http://www.iqtree.org/doc/Home) for details on what each of the IQ-TREE output files contain.
