Supplementary data for paper: From microbes to mammals: pond biodiversity homogenization across different land-use types in an agricultural landscape The dataset includes: 1) A summary of sampled kettle holes. 2) A summary of the physico-chemical paramteres obtained during the different campaigns. Additional descriptive papramteres in this file: --------------------------------------------------- Reed: The prsesnce or absence of reed plants arround or in the kettle holes Canopy: Full (F), Partial (P) or No (N) canopy cover over the kettle holes Size: General size categories of the kettle holes Small(S), Medium (M) Large (L). Large Kettle holes border the size of small lakes ~1000 m2 Depth: Categorization of kettle holes as Shallow (S) <1 m and Deep (D) >1 m. The actual depth is provided in the Depth column Perm: A permanency factor based on the number of campaigns in which the kettle hole was obserevd with water. 3) A summary of the number of sequences obtained per sample. 4) Taxonomic annotation of sequences using the EMBL taxonomy (as incorporated in the SILVA v. 132 database) 5) Taxonomic annotation of sequences using the SILVA taxonomy (as incorporated in the SILVA v. 132 database) 6) Taxonomic annotation of sequences using the KRAKEN2 tool and the SILVA database 7) Markdown R-script for calculating spatial autocorrelation.
