This dataset is the transformed 'atrack_info.mat' after call parameter estimation and filtering have been applied. This dataset is then used to generate the datasets: 'full_dataset', 'dataset_sl', 'dataset_enr' and 'dataset_tc'. Each row is one trial and the different columns correspond to: - 'datenum': serial date number for the date and time on which the data were collected; - 'datestr': date and time on which the data were collected; - 'trial_id': trial id number; - 'duration_s': total duration of trial; - 'bat_name': for each bat; - 'noland': binary number (0 for successful, 1 for unsuccessful trials); - 'noise_level': broadband noise level generated from the hydrophone (as dB re. 20 uPa root-mean-square at 0.1 m from the speaker, no-noise trials correspond to the value of 20); - 'timing': time of flight (in seconds, i.e., the time it took the bat to complete the landing task); - 'calls': field containing different call parameters for the calls selected during this trial (see below) & - 'loctrack': field containing localization parameters for the calls selected during this trial (see below). The field 'calls' contains different parameters, of which the following are important: - 'wave': waveform of each recorded call on all 7 microphones; - 'dBA_s': absorption loss (dB) for SL estimation; - 'dBA_e': absorption loss (dB) for EL estimation; - 'dBA_n': absorption loss (dB) for received, broadband noise level estimation; - 'pf': peak frequency (kHz); - 'cf': centroid frequency (kHz); - 'dur': call duration (seconds); - 'RL': call received level on the microphone above the sphere (as root-mean-square, dB re. 20 uPa); - 'snr': signal-to-noise ratio (in dB) for this call; - 'SL': source level of this call (as root-mean-square, dB re. 20 uPa at 0.1 m); - 'SLefd': source level of this call (as energy flux density, dB re. 20 μPa^2 s at 0.1 m); - 'EL': echo level of this call from the sphere (as root-mean-square, dB re. 20 uPa at 0.1 m from the bat); - 'ELefd': echo level of this call from the sphere (as energy flux density, dB re. 20 μPa^2 s at 0.1 m from the bat); - 'ELop': 1/3 octave level - echo level of this call from the sphere (as root-mean-square, dB re. 20 uPa at 0.1 m from the bat); - 'NLb': broadband received noise level at 0.1 m from the bat (as dB re. 20 uPa root-mean-square) after accounting for spherical spreading and absorption; - 'ENRb': broadband echo-to-noise ratio (dB); - 'ENRn': echo energy to noise spectral density ratio (dB); - 'ENRop': 1/3 octave echo-to-noise ratio around the call peak frequency (dB) & - 'ipiseconds': interpulse interval (in seconds), the time between the end and start of successive calls. The field 'loctrack' contains different localization parameters, of which the following are important: - 'locxyz': 3-D locations (in metres) for all the selected calls; - 'rangeSphere': the range from the sphere (in metres) at which each call was produced; - 'rangeAbove': the range from the microphone above the sphere (in metres) at which each call was produced; - 'indfinal1': index of final selected calls from each trial; - 'indsl': index of 5 calls with highest SLrms per trial & - 'indenr': index of 5 calls with the highest broadband ENR per trial.
