Here we include all of the data for the analyses performed in this manuscript. Phylogenetic matrix files: "Langer et al_2017_Mbiresaurus.nex" contains the phylogenetic matrix in NEXUS format, with Mbiresaurus included, from Langer et al. 2017. "Langer et al_2017_Mbiresaurus.tnt" contains the phylogenetic matrix in TNT format, with Mbiresaurus included, from Langer et al. 2017. "Baron et al_2017b_Mbiresaurus.nex" contains the phylogenetic matrix in NEXUS format, with Mbiresaurus included, from Baron et al. 2017b as modified by later authors (Baron 2019, Nesbitt et al. 2021). "Baron et al_2017b_Mbiresaurus.tnt" contains the phylogenetic matrix in TNT format, with Mbiresaurus included, from Baron et al. 2017b as modified by later authors (Baron 2019, Nesbitt et al. 2021). "Cabreira et al_2016_Mbiresaurus.nex" contains the phylogenetic matrix in NEXUS format, with Mbiresaurus included, from Cabreira et al. 2016. "Cabreira et al_2016_Mbiresaurus.tnt" contains the phylogenetic matrix in TNT format, with Mbiresaurus included, from Cabreira et al. 2016. Because of their size and complexity, we have separated the other files for analyses into two folders for greater clarity and reproducibility. Files for Bayesian phylogenetic analyses in BEAST are contained in the folder "BEAST.zip" and biogeographic analyses in BioGeoBEARS in the folder "BioGeoBEARS.zip". Each zipped folder contains its own README file explaining each analysis and folder structure in greater detail. These files can be found on Zenodo, linked on the Dryad page under "Related Works—Software" or by the DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.5806766 We include all of the necessary resources to replicate our analyses with our data. All biogeographic analyses are performed using the outputs from our BEAST models.
