The dataset consists of volumes expressed as percentage of total intracarnial volume (eTIV). eTIV is a measure of headsize. The volume data are normalizized to the head size to account for intrasubject head size differences. The regions examined include the limbic system, the substructures listed below. The left and right sides of the brain are added to derive total volume, which is then expressed as percentage of eTIV. Abbreviations: Subj# the Id of the subject eTIV: total intracranial volume Hypothal: hypothalamus Fornix: Fornix MB: Mammillary bodies BasalFB: basal forebrain Septal NUC: septal nuclei Ant-Thal: anterior thalamic nuclei group W-Thalam: whole thalamus Hippocam: hippocampus Total Limbic: total limbic system comprising of hypothalamus, fornix, mammillary bodies, basal forebrain, septal nuclei, anterio thalamic nuclei. BPF: Brain parenchymal fraction T2-Lsn-Vol: in MS group, the T2 lesion volume Dz Dur: MS diseae duration in years EDSS BSLN: clinical disability score EDSS (Expanded Disability Status Scale) Age in years Total Rx duration: total number years the subject was treated with a MS therapy Age Gender Race Total Rx dur All dataset all included, controls and RRMS. The covariates of interests are included as well. Please refer to the published manuscript for data analysis and tabulation.
