The sequences are in Illumina fastq format. The files are named using the format : s___sequence__start.txt where : - is the lane the sample was sequenced in - is 1 or 2 for forward and reverse reads, respectively (paired-end sequencing) - are common to all sequences in one file. However, some files containing forward reads may correspond to several populations if the lane was used for several populations. In the case of a shared lane, the reads from one population can be gathered by first taking the reverse reads from that population, and then by selecting the forward reads based on the unique identifiers of those reverse reads.
