Tab "list of cell cycle times" Column A "clone number" indicates the identity of clones analyzed. Column B "divisions in tip" lists the measured intervals (in hours) between successive cell divisions that occurred in a tip. Column C "divisions in trunk" lists the measured intervals between successive cell divisions that occurred in a trunk. A number preceded by ">" indicates a minimum cell cycle time (the time from the last cell division until the end of the movie). Tab "calculation of averages" Column A "cell cycle time (hrs)" lists the range of cell cycle times (e.g., time between two successive cell divisions) observed. Column B "occurrences in tip" lists the number of events in tips with the cell cycle time shown in column A. Column C "occurrences in trunk" lists the number of events in trunks with the cell cycle time shown in column A. Column D is blank. Column E "tip - calculate average" shows the product of column A x column B. Column F "trunk - calculate average" shows the product of column A x column C. Totals and averages are calculated at the bottom. For questions, contact Frank Costantini fdc3@columbia.edu
