Includes the number of samples corresponding to each genotype ('reps') and target locus data. 'MEC-12-0646_GenotypeData' column headings: Column1; [Geno_ID] genotype ID (in species-plot-count format; for example VE-04-01 = R. vesiculosus genotype #1 in plot 4) locus1 allele1, locus1 allele2, locus2 allele1, ... locus9 allele2 Column2; [#Reps] number of samples matching this genotype (samples with matching alleles at all loci) Column3; [L1A1] first allel (A) at locus 1 (L) Column4; [L1A2] second allele at locus 1 Column5; [L2A1] first allele at locus 2 Column6; [L2A2] second allele at locus 2 Column7... Column#; [L#A1] first allele at locus # Column#; [L#A2] second allele at locus # >'#' = Number >For R. vesiculosus, locus1 = Rv15, locus2 = Rv46, locus3 = Rve2.10, locus4 = Rve2.14, locus5 = Rve1.21, locus6 = Rve1.34, locus7 = Rve2.44, locus8 = Rve2.77, locus9 = Rve3.21. >For R. vinicolor, locus1 = Rv15, locus2 = Rv46, locus3 = Rve2.10, locus4 = Rve2.14, locus5 = Rve1.21, locus6 = Rve1.34, locus7 = Rve2.44, locus8 = Rve2.77, locus9 = Rve3.21, locus10 = Rv53. Locus3 and locus5 were excluded for population genetic analysis. >For P. menziesii, locus1 = PmOSU_1C3, locus 2 = PmOSU_1F9, locus 3 = PmOSU_2D4. Tree alleles = '0' consistently yielded no results following repeated DNA extractions and molecular analysis of respective sample(s), but were nonetheless matched to reference trees aboveground (DNA from aboveground tree tissues were obtained from some but not all trees near plots used in this study). Fungal samples with missing data following molecular analyses were excluded from all analyses. >For additional information regarding molecular methodology used (primer labels, thermocycling program, primer combinations for multiplexing, etc.), see corresponding manuscript: MEC-12-0646. Format is compatible with GenAlEx version 4.61 and GENEPOP version 4.1.3 (see references below). In 'MEC-12-0646_PopData', title line identifies species, followed by microsatellite DNA loci targeted, then genotype data for each population ('pop'). Each row following 'Pop' corresponds to a unique genotype. In the first column, 'Pop' refers to a priori population assignment. In subsequent columns (left to right), numbers are assigned to each unique allele (2 digits) for each locus. Loci are presented in the order listed in rows above, and are tab-delimited. Loci = 0000 idicates missing data. For more information see: >Peakall R, Smouse PE (2006) GENALEX 6: genetic analysis in Excel. Population genetic software for teaching and research.
