Data for 'Additive genetic variance and effects of inbreeding, sex and age on heterophil to lymphocyte ratio in song sparrows' Losdat, Arcese, Sampson, Villar and Reid, Functional Ecology, 2015 This file contains the phenotypic data for the analyses of repeatability of the measurement (of Heterophil to Lymphocyte ratios). These data come from the long-term song sparrow field study on Mandarte Island, BC, Canada. The data provided here are sufficient to replicate the analyses presented in the above paper, and are therefore a restricted subset of the full Mandarte dataset. If you are interested in running further analyses that require further data then please get in touch with Prof Peter Arcese (University of British Columbia), Prof Lukas Keller (University of Zurich) or Prof Jane Reid (University of Aberdeen). We are always happy to develop collaborations with researchers who have good ideas for new analyses. We'd also appreciate it if you could let us know if you are intending to make use of the dataset below in order to facilitate coordination of different ongoing research efforts and allow us to keep track of all outputs from the long-term field study. Key to variables: "ID" is individual identity (arbitrary numbers) "Heterophils" is the number of heterophils "Lymphocytes" is the number of lymphocytes "User" is an arbitrary letter corresponding to the slide examiner for the given sample "Sampling Period" corresponds to the time period when the sample was collected "ID" "Heterophils" "Lymphocytes" "User" "Sampling Period" 21 26 180 "b" "Fall 2003" 29 23 37 "b" "Fall 2003" 5 0 53 "b" "Fall 2004" 5 6 49 "b" "Fall 2004" 25 19 213 "b" "Fall 2004" 25 27 140 "b" "Fall 2004" 31 0 205 "b" "Fall 2004" 31 0 123 "b" "Fall 2004" 30 5 77 "b" "Fall 2004" 30 2 91 "b" "Fall 2004" 32 31 93 "b" "Fall 2004" 32 32 137 "b" "Fall 2004" 18 3 90 "c" "Fall 2005" 18 2 147 "c" "Fall 2005" 19 23 119 "c" "Fall 2005" 19 10 122 "c" "Fall 2005" 20 18 115 "c" "Fall 2005" 20 23 148 "c" "Fall 2005" 23 2 75 "c" "Fall 2005" 23 5 82 "c" "Fall 2005" 24 7 115 "c" "Fall 2005" 24 7 155 "c" "Fall 2005" 28 5 87 "c" "Fall 2005" 28 2 110 "c" "Fall 2005" 33 11 142 "c" "Fall 2005" 33 2 140 "c" "Fall 2005" 34 7 140 "c" "Fall 2005" 34 2 154 "c" "Fall 2005" 35 8 90 "c" "Fall 2005" 35 3 125 "c" "Fall 2005" 36 8 90 "c" "Fall 2005" 36 9 147 "c" "Fall 2005" 37 40 83 "c" "Fall 2005" 37 32 105 "c" "Fall 2005" 38 3 65 "c" "Fall 2005" 38 15 44 "c" "Fall 2005" 39 5 103 "d" "Fall 2006" 39 3 57 "d" "Fall 2006" 40 1 83 "d" "Fall 2006" 40 1 97 "d" "Fall 2006" 41 2 43 "d" "Fall 2006" 41 2 54 "d" "Fall 2006" 42 3 175 "d" "Fall 2006" 42 1 158 "d" "Fall 2006" 43 0 151 "d" "Fall 2006" 43 2 93 "d" "Fall 2006" 44 17 101 "d" "Fall 2006" 44 27 111 "d" "Fall 2006" 21 19 103 "b" "Fall 2008" 22 18 35 "b" "Fall 2008" 22 13 58 "b" "Fall 2008" 26 27 98 "b" "Fall 2008" 26 17 137 "b" "Fall 2008" 27 11 39 "b" "Fall 2008" 27 6 66 "b" "Fall 2008" 29 23 37 "b" "Fall 2008" 29 11 46 "b" "Fall 2008" 29 23 42 "b" "Fall 2008" 45 2 81 "b" "Fall 2008" 45 9 138 "b" "Fall 2008" 46 0 100 "b" "Fall 2008" 46 3 199 "b" "Fall 2008" 47 2 196 "b" "Fall 2008" 47 4 209 "b" "Fall 2008" 48 8 157 "b" "Fall 2008" 48 3 127 "b" "Fall 2008" 49 5 216 "b" "Fall 2008" 49 7 195 "b" "Fall 2008" 50 3 201 "b" "Fall 2008" 50 0 184 "b" "Fall 2008" 51 5 130 "b" "Fall 2008" 51 5 157 "b" "Fall 2008" 51 5 157 "b" "Fall 2008" 51 8 156 "b" "Fall 2008" 52 11 187 "b" "Fall 2008" 52 7 179 "b" "Fall 2008" 4 35 129 "a" "Spring 2001" 4 42 115 "a" "Spring 2001" 1 13 139 "a" "Spring 2001" 1 22 110 "a" "Spring 2001" 8 30 147 "a" "Spring 2001" 8 56 110 "a" "Spring 2001" 11 38 144 "a" "Spring 2001" 11 27 125 "a" "Spring 2001" 6 63 157 "a" "Spring 2002" 6 17 141 "a" "Spring 2002" 2 5 192 "a" "Spring 2002" 2 4 165 "a" "Spring 2002" 5 50 119 "a" "Spring 2002" 5 46 119 "a" "Spring 2002" 10 89 201 "a" "Spring 2002" 10 63 150 "a" "Spring 2002" 14 4 173 "a" "Spring 2002" 14 4 140 "a" "Spring 2002" 16 49 186 "a" "Spring 2002" 16 45 150 "a" "Spring 2002" 17 20 248 "a" "Spring 2002" 17 16 150 "a" "Spring 2002" 15 37 185 "a" "Winter 2002" 15 54 136 "a" "Winter 2002" 3 3 97 "a" "Winter 2002" 3 6 125 "a" "Winter 2002" 12 16 133 "a" "Winter 2002" 12 26 47 "a" "Winter 2002" 13 54 77 "a" "Winter 2002" 13 61 104 "a" "Winter 2002" 7 10 127 "a" "Winter 2002" 7 10 117 "a" "Winter 2002" 9 38 85 "a" "Winter 2002" 9 25 73 "a" "Winter 2002"
