This work built upon previous work performed by U.S. Forest Service; Rocky Mountain Research Station; Air, Water, and Aquatic Environments Program (AWAE), who created the NorWeST stream temperature database, reconditioned the NHDPlus river netowrk so it could be used with SSN models, processed the stream lines into 1 kilometer segments, and spatially linked covariates to the river network.
